Building Confidence in Fertility Treatment

Similar to IVF clinics in Europe or America, A good TMC centre provides the full range of fertility treatments currently available on a global scale. IVF is not always necessary, though. The available treatments will change depending on what is causing your fertility issues.

Even though they may have been trying to get pregnant for a long time, TMC Fertility in Malaysia has assisted many couples with straightforward fertility treatments because of its cutting-edge medical and technology facilities and competent fertility specialists.

Your doctor could advise starting with less invasive treatments or basic procedures and working up to more involved surgery as needed. Each couple will have a thorough evaluation, after which individualised, treatment will be suggested.

Others may need to undergo in vitro fertilization, while some couples may only need fertility medications or outpatient daycare procedures. There are a few different types of fertility treatments that offer in TMC Fertility.

1. Natural Cycle Monitoring

The medical professionals at TMC Fertility can keep track of these patients’ ovulation cycles, recommend timed sexual activity, or provide assistance by performing ‘unstimulated’ intrauterine insemination (IUI) to help these women get pregnant even without the use of contraceptives.

2. Ovulation Induction

Most fertility treatments start with stimulating egg production. Ovulation induction is the process of giving women medicines to stimulate the creation of more mature eggs in their ovaries. Only one mature egg is generated during a menstrual cycle in a normal cycle. The likelihood of conception would increase by increasing the number of mature eggs.

Depending on the treatment regimen combination of both pills and injections, medications to stimulate eggs can either be taken orally, i.e., fertility tablets for 5 days, or intravenously, i.e., injections into the fat part of the abdomen, from 4 days up to a few weeks.

3. Fertility Pills and Timed Intercourse

Starting a few days following the menstrual cycle, fertility medications are prescribed for 5 days. The optimum days for making love will be suggested after an ultrasound monitoring appointment that will be performed close to her ovulation day in the middle of the cycle to evaluate her egg growth.

4. Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

Every expectant parent worries about the health and normality of their unborn children. The truth is that all women have the danger of having a child with defective chromosomes, especially if they are over 35.

In the past, amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling (CVS) was used to check pregnant women over 35 for chromosomal disorders such as Down’s Syndrome. When the infants are discovered to be abnormal, they will have to make the difficult choice of whether to continue or end the pregnancy.

5. Surgical Sperm Retrieval (MESA, PESA, or TESE)

Sperm can be extracted using a variety of techniques, including Micro Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (MESA), Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (PESA), and Testicular Sperm Extraction, for male patients with very little or no sperm in their ejaculated semen. ICSI and IVF treatments will then use the sperm that was obtained.

In the MESA procedure, the surgeon makes a tiny incision in the scrotum and collects the sperm at the epididymis, the long, coiling channel that allows the sperm to exit the testicles. This is a quick surgery that just needs local anaesthesia and takes 30 minutes to complete.

MESA and PESA are comparable, but PESA does not use microsurgery. For PESA, the doctor inserts a needle into the epididymis and scrotum to draw sperm into a syringe. When MESA has fallen short, TESE is typically used. In order to retrieve the sperm, a small amount of testicular tissue must be removed.

Other traditional ways of treating infertility include acupuncture but some people suggest that more evidence is needed.
